Three Things Every Woman Wants
Making a woman happy seems impossible. We are so complicated, right? The truth is, we are a bit complicated if you look at each nuance that makes us a female. We notice small things that can indicate something is wrong, from the color of one's skin, to the infliction in a voice, to the temperature of someone's forehead. We then run through one thousand and three scenarios attempting to figure out what has caused the change, diagnose it and find a solution. Just like men, we want to fix things. The difference is that women need to fix emotional and physical ailments within other people and men have an innate need to fix the material things we rely on for basic survival.

Best Way To Make A Passive Income
I am sure that you have read, or heard about, all of the get rich quick schemes that revolve around real estate. And, if you're anything like me, I wondered how I would even buy real estate with self-employment income and mediocre credit. It is possible and without jumping through hoops. Before you read on, however, I want you to know that this doesn't mean you are going to start raking in millions or even thousands tomorrow. This is a process that will take a lot of effort for six months or so. It will take some cash investment too. But for less than monthly rent, you could be on your way to financial freedom (depending on whether you are like me and have a champagne taste on a beer budget– you get the picture!)

Arrested for Stepping on Dry Sand
On July 1, 2018, the Governor of Florida, Rick Scott, signed into law H.B. 631, a bill sponsored by a Ft. Lauderdale born democrat named Edwards-Walpole. This bill gave beach property owners the right to claim the lands of the beach to the mean high tide line, or in other words, beach-goers had to stay on wet sand only. Moreover, this bill forbid any local governments and counties from creating any ordinance that would create a customary use for beach-goers against the homeowners' rights. This means that, even if a county wanted to give local residents and tourists a right to enjoy the sands that they have been enjoying for decades, the county cannot do so. The bill strictly prohibits that. So, where does this leave you if you visit Florida? How does this impact Florida? Take a look...

Mother by Day, Wife by Night
I am a mother and a wife in the traditional sense; I make meals, clean, shop, kiss boo-boo's, and I clean toilets. While none of that is necessarily sexy, unless your husband has a fetish with a dust mop, it doesn't mean that you can't put sexy back into your relationship.

Remembering Our History
I grew up on the Mason-Dixon line just south of the St. Michaels, the town made infamous for outsmarting the Brits during the Revolutionary War. We have some Northerner traits, some southern hospitality, and our very own Chesapeake Bay culture. Even though we lived in an area that saw the most "brother against brother" situations, with the battle lines drawn less than an hour from my home, one thing we don't have is hate. We don't hate the North, we don't hate America, we don't hate the South, and we don't hate either flag. We respect them all.

5 Things to Start Teaching Your Child Now
There are tons of articles dedicated to what to teach your child, how to teach it, when to teach it and then, of course, all of the expensive programs to go along with each method. We tend to over-think, over-analyze, and over-complicate what, and how, to teach our children. We do not need expensive programs, state-of-the-art computers, nannies, or private daycares. We simply need repetition, time, and attention, and a whole lot of patience. Below you will find the five things I taught my youngest daughter. By 2-years-old, she knew how to sing her alphabet, could identify letters, count to 13, sing songs, knows most of her shapes, and can identify five colors. Now, at 26-months-old, she can write her alphabet and knows the phonetic connection to approximately half of the alphabet. And the best part—I didn't spend one dime on anything; no program, no computer, no books, no daycare—NOTHING.
